I love when I call things out and most of the time I happen to be right. I actually said when this story first broke in conversation with some friends that I bet you La Toya is going to turn out to be the only sensible one in all this Jackson melodrama not even Tyler Perry could write for one of his nigger nonsense plays.
For the past week Prince and Paris have been airing their dirty family laundry on Twatter, and Katherine has been doing scripted press conferences with her children looking over her shoulder like highly-paid security. Now La Toya, who has been shockingly quiet throughout the ordeal has finally broken her silence, saying that the public feuding is tarnishing the family name and that everyone needs to work it out in private. There's no word on which team she's on, but according to TMZ, La Toya wants what's best for Michael's kids ... and feels the quicker the family can stop making a public spectacle of themselves ... the better off the kids will be.
Who knew that anyone would look at the empress of publicity as the sane one of the family and the voice of reason? I happen to agree with her views. I don't believe in people airing their frustration to millions of strangers. If you have a problem with certain members of your family or if you are feuding with a friend, take it to a mediator who can help you work it out. Don't go on Facebook and Twitter to talk about what's going on in your family so that a bunch of people who don't really know you can judge your personal affairs. I have been trying my best to hold on to the pre-social networking days when you kept certain things to yourself, but I guess the days of having just an inch of privacy is long gone.
UPDATE: TJ Jackson and Katherine have been granted co-custody of MJ's three children. So the peace treaty is in place...for now!
