JEREMY RENNER COVERS ESQUIRE MAGAZINE

I have a confession to make. I have had the biggest crush on Jeremy Renner ever since I laid eyes on the 41-year-old actor in Dahmer. I know the last thing anyone should be doing is crushing on a man who played a cannibal serial killer, but I don't give a shit. Anyways, there's always been something dark and mysterious yet gritty about him, and I just love a man who is not afraid to get down and dirty in an action movie (like he did in the Oscar-winning film, The Hurt Locker as well as 28 Weeks Later, The Town,  The Avengers, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and now in The Bourne Legacy when that film comes out next month) or even apply some of those moves in the bedroom. Speaking of Legacy, Jeremy struck a pose for Esquire magazine to promote the film, and talked about a plethora of topics - including hanging out at karaoke bars, his love for architecture, and his dislike for the stock market. Sadly, no questions about his love life. It's all good though. He will be mine...trust!

You can read the entire interview here, but in the meantime read the best bits and check out a few more photos below...

On frequenting a karaoke bar:

“I used to hang out at karaoke bars all the time. It was the most fun you could have when you had no money. I went right here twice a week”… from 1995 until, like, 2002. Religiously. And she was one of the gals. There was a whole clan of people, this circuit of people. We’d get together and just have the best time. You know, she was a tremendous singer. A really, really great singer.”

On not liking the stock market:

“I will never be in the stock market. It’s just gambling. I’m a gambler, but I’ll gamble on the practicality of things. If I’m all-in on a structure, at least I can sleep in the damn thing.”

On architecture:

“Architecture and building is about how you get around the obstacles that are presented to you. That sometimes determines how successful you’ll be: How good are you at going around obstacles?”
