The last time we saw Brandy dancing in one of her music videos was when she was awkwardly trying to sex it up in the video for her single Afrodisiac.
Today at the ripe old age of 33, Brandy seems to have finally come into her own as a woman and has gone back to shaking her tail feather again (most recently at the BET Awards).
Brandy posted some pics of her rehearsing some choreography for her Put It Down music video over the weekend, and word on the street is that she's shooting the video today. Brandy's team is definitely on their grind because they've recruited one of the fiercest choreographer/creative directors in the biz Frank Gatson to make her look good on film (Gatson is responsible for Beyonce's Run The World & Single Ladies videos, as well as the choreography in the gay film, Leave It On The Floor), so you know Brandy along with Chris Brown (who is also on the track) will put it down (pun intended) in the video.
Here's what Brandy told Kempire Radio about the video's concept:
It’s gonna be a performance video. I just had a meeting with Frank Gatson last night and he gets the best choreographers when he puts his foot in something so he’s really excited about everything that’s happening. He loves the song and we are looking forward to working together and making this everything it’s suppose to be.
I love me some Brandy and not only can I not wait for the music video to come out but her long-awaited new album as well. For those of you who need a memory refresher, take a listen to Put It Down below...
