Ever since Anderson Cooper officially came out publicly two weeks ago as a gay man, there have been many theories as to why he decided to do it now. Many (like Star Jones) felt that he came out to boost ratings on his CNN show Anderson360 and his daytime talk show, but word on the street is that the silver fox came out to beat a scorned lover from spilling the tea and most likely make a few dollars from his bedroom tales.
According to Queerty, “The article is supposed to come out in the next few months when Anderson comes back on the air.”
It has been known (for those in the gay NY gossip community) that Anderson has been dating EasternBloc owner Benjamin Maisani for a few years, but rumors are swirling that the personality has had eyes for a an actor named Gavin Hammon (pictured below). According to a spy Andy was spotted having a late-night dinner with Hammon and the two went back to A-Coop's home, a converted fire house in Greenwich Village.

[Maisani] was also very upset when Anderson came out because Gavin posted similar wording to what Anderson said, on the same day around the same time period.
Anderson wrote “I love and I am loved.” Gavin posted, “you know you are loved when you get this picture,” about a photo a friend had sent.
I'm just glad to see that an A-list gay like Anderson gets dickmatized like the rest of us common folk. Now the only thing I'm really curious about is how the often uptight Anderson likes to get down in the bedroom.
