For those who pay close attention to celebrity beefs, it's common knowledge that Chris Brown has had an ongoing beef with Frank Ocean and Odd Future member Tyler The Creator long before Frank admitted he had a thing for peen.
They have since put the beef behind them, but The Advocate.com reported over the weekend that the “Beautiful People” singer has come under fire when he allegedly said “no homo” after he was questioned about Ocean’s sexual orientation on his way out of a nightclub in Cannes, France.
Brown, took to his favorite social networking site to defend himself on the homophobic accusations.
“My Opinion on the whole Frank Ocean subject is ……… Love who u wanna love. It’s ur decision. People stop searching for BS,” he tweeted. “Everyone is so quick to point the wrong fingers at each other! Ask urself… Am I Doing everything I can to help the world ????”
Chris has nothing but love for Ocean, whose debut album Channel ORANGE was released a week after his album Fortune. “The world is so bent on social acceptance that we’ve forgotten what makes us special… Our individuality! #Imdone #readabookbitch,” he added.
Ever since Chris' fists had a dance-off with Rihanna's face, he's being watched like a hawk so any little thing he does is scrutinized by the media. I have to say I am so glad that social networking didn't exist while I was coming up, because I think I would have lost my mind. If in face Chris did say "no homo," I want to see the video where he said it. Then it can be determined if he was being homophobic. Besides, how can someone like Chris have negative things to say about gay people when he dyes his hair blond and wears skinny jeans. if that's not trying to kick the celluloid closet right off the hinges I don't know what to tell you.
Oh and P.S. I don't want to come across as a word nazi, but it's never a person's decision to love who they love. it almost sounds like he's saying that being into someone of the same gender is a choice. Love is instinctual and it just happens.
