While everyone was enjoying time with family and friends around a nice BBQ, Chad Ochocinco spent his Independence day tying the knot in Miami with Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada.
Surrounded by family, friends and I'm sure his tribe of kids, Evelyn became a football wife as cameras captured the entire thing for their reality show, the ridiculously titled “Ev and Ocho,” which will premiere on VH1 in September.
The former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant live tweeted throughout the wedding, even noting at one point, “I don’t recall sending the butterflies in my stomach an invite.”
I wasn't feeling these two when they shared scenes on the last season of Basketball Wives (I always fast-forwarded through their scenes), so I honestly could care less about their upcoming reality show. But then again, I said the same thing about Kim Zolciak's wedding to football player Kroy Beirmann and I wound up watching it except you felt Kim and Kroy's love for each other was real. Chad was rumored to be cheating on Evelyn while they were engaged (they became engaged in 2010) but being that the donkey probably needs financial security, she went along with marrying him and will most likely turn a blind eye to his shenanigans.
