After pretty much using every D-list celebrity he can think of on last season's Celebrity Apprentice (a show far more interesting than the regular Apprentice), Donald Trump is following in the footsteps of Project Runway and Dancing With The Stars to create an All-Stars season to air in February, 2013.
Say what you want about the series and it's host (believe me - I have), but The Cekebrity Apprentice has boosted the careers of long-forgotten celebs like winners Joan Rivers (who hosts Fashion Police, has a #1 best-selling book out and a hit reality show), Piers Morgan (who has a show on CNN), and most recently Arsenio Hall (who has a late night talk show in the works) to name a few.
According to The New York Post, some of the names being thrown around include Piers Morgan, Joan Rivers, John Rich, Bret Michaels and Arsenio Hall would definitely earn the offer. Others being considered are Trace Adkins, Omarosa, Gene Simmons, Lennox Lewis, Meat Loaf, Jesse James, Gary Busey, Marlee Matlin, Sharon Osbourne, Cyndi Lauper, Marilu Henner and Dennis Rodman.
We do need some of the crazy to come back, but I also think Annie Duke should be considered, because her battle against Joan and Melissa Rivers was LEGENDARY television. Where else would you be coined a "whore pit viper" and "Annie Douche" by the queen of mean and her daughter? I also say bring back Aubrey O' Day and Lisa Lampanelli because lord knows their bitchery knew no bounds last season.
Other names I think should be considered are Clay Aiken (who I feel should have won), NeNe Leakes, Dayana Mendoza, La Toya Jackson, Star Jones, Curtis Stone, Clint Black, Melissa Rivers, and Debbie Gibson.
Anyways, although I despise Donald Trump as a human being, Celebrity Apprentice always manages to suck me in with all the drama, since the boring A-list give us nothing but a series of bad movies as they collect their overpaid millions.
