BARBARA WALTERS REVEALS WHY HER INTERVIEW WITH GEORGE ZIMMERMAN FELL THROUGH

So earlier today I posted the horrible one-sided interview George Zimmerman gave to Sean Hannity over at Fox News about killing Trayvon Martin and this morning, Barbara Walters spoke to the ladies of The View and Roseanne Barr (who stood in as guest co-host) about her interview with george that never happened.

Barbara said after speaking with George's attorneys about the interview, she and a camera crew flew out to Florida where she agreed to do the interview and air it after the Hannity interview. Barbara said after talking to George for about an hour, to which he described him as "polite, soft-spoken and stubborn," he showed up to their meeting out of the suit he wore in the Hannity intervew and knew at that point something bizarre was up. When the producers at ABC couldn't come up with a solution he would be satisfied with, Barbara pulled the plug on the interview.

But wait - there's more. later in the show during another segment when Judge Jeanine Pirro came on to talk about a few headline-grabbing Hot Topics (such as the Trayvon Martin death trial), George wanted to call into The View to give an interview live. After alot of back-and-forthness throughout the hour, Barbara declined to interview George until he sets up a proper interview without backing out.

Barbara refused to state what his demands were that could not be met, but I'm thinking it has to be money. He is in a financial bind right now, and George and his family are in hiding due to death threates. With his trial around the corner and no way to make money to take care of his family, George seems desperate for cash. As I stated before his interview with Sean came across as a way to get sympathy from the American people, but to me when you say that you don't regret what happened and that it was God's plan, I'm sorry but I can't feel sorry for you. I also find it quite disgusting that in this society we continue to give interviews to killers like George and the many that have come before him.

Check out Barbara talking about the interview that never happened below...
