M.I.A. is still putting the finishing touches on her upcoming album, and the Sri Lankan singer/rapper has teamed up with legendary electronic producer William Orbit on a new track called Baby. Mr. Orbit brings his usual bleeps and sonic fourishes, but When Maya has given us big hits like Paper Planes, Boys, Galang and Bad Girls, and I have to say I'm quite disappointed with her vocals on this one. If you want to be frank it sounds incomplete, so I'll wait until Maya officially drops it as a single (or it ends up on her album) to give my full critique.
