WENDY WILLIAMS TEAMING UP WITH SUZANNE DE PASSE ON TV & FILM PROJECTS

After spending over two decades in radio, Wendy Williams has been focusing all of her energy into making her daytime talk show the most popular morning show on TV. She was smart to leave that troublemaker Charlamagne on the side of the turnpike to fend for himself, and has done some acting on the side, including a recent stint in the hit movie, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man.

Yesterday on her show during Hot Topics, Wendy announced that her production company will be teaming up with producing legend Suzanne De Passe and Madison Jones' de Passe Jones Entertainment to produce future TV and movie projects.

"de Passe Jones Entertainment has a proven track record of success as it pertains to television movies and mini-series," said Wendy Williams. "This partnership makes great sense to Wendy Williams Productions and our entry into the world of filmed entertainment. The credentials of Suzanne de Passe and Madison Jones speak for themselves. We are looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with de Passe Jones Entertainment and adding to their stellar and lengthy string of highly successful films."

"Suzanne and I are thrilled about this partnership with Wendy Williams," said Madison Jones. "The goal of this strategic partnership is to bring the very best movies of every ilk to the general public and greatly enhance the diversity, content and quality of offerings currently available."

Here's what Suzanne had to say about teaming up with Williams: "Wendy's popularity and brand is evidenced by her success in daytime television. We are looking forward to expanding her brand and audience in all areas of filmed and scripted entertainment,"

Wendy's demographic consists of women and gay men, and a few hetero men you can count on one hand as well, so I'm guessing the projects she comes up with will most likely end up on Lifetime or Bravo, since she is a reality TV junkie and always talks about the fluffy Lifetime movies on her show. Also, since her movie based on her life has never been released (with Robin Givens playing Wendy), I wonder if it will ever see the light of day or will it remain locked away in the Hollywood graveyard vault.
