As we get close to the July 1 airing of the 2012 BET Awards, the network has announced a few of the celebs who will be performing. Word on the street is that two-time nominee Usher (who released his album Looking For Myself today), three-time nominee Big Sean, and 2 Chainz will perform individual performances during the show. Also performing at the event is Chris Brown and off the recent real hip hop drama Nicki Garbaj will also perform along with her bells and whistles and cray cray outfits. What I am hoping is that we can get a proper tribute to Donna Summer at the event as well as performances by Ciara, Miguel, Brandy, Trey Songz and Missy.
The BET Awards will air live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on July 1 at 8 p.m. EST with Samuel L. Jackson as host.
