Earlier in the week when I was talking about Oprah's sit down with Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka, I had brefly mentioned that on the next episode of Oprah's Next Chapter she would be sitting down with Paris Jackson and hip hop big mouth 50 Cent.
While I don't think her interview with Michael's only daughter will be as compelling as her sit down with Bobbi Kristina, the interview I am really interested in is with 50 Cent. If you've been following their longtime feud, Oprah has been very vocal about her distaste for hip hop which caused 50 to say some very nasty things about her in the early days of his career. He even mentioned a few months back on The View that he had named his dogs after the billionaire and her best friend Gayle because he felt Oprah didn't like hip hop.
In the interview Lady O says that she was pleasantly surprised to learn so much about him, especially his views on rap culture, fatherhood, love, and life.
Here are five things she learned about Mr. Jackson:
1. He meditates regularly.
2. Received his mantra from Deepak Chopra, whose book he’s currently reading.
3. He was not allowed to use curse words in his grandmother’s house and still follows that rule.
4. A recent conversation with philanthropist Ray Chambers was life changing for him.
5. He believes either pray or worry…no need for both.
I've always said to not judge a book by it's cover, and if she can have a chat with Jay Z and become close friends with him, I don't see why she can't talk to Fiddy...unless the reason behind chatting with him is because his money is as long as Jay's. Don't hold your breath on her asking about his close relationship with Floyd.
