NEW REALITY SHOW HIGHLIGHTING MISTRESSES HEADING TO TV
Yesterday after Ice T gave his thoughts on the the exploitation of "baby mamas" and "housewives" getting their shine in the reality TV spotlight, it looks like his comments have fallen on deaf ears, because there's a new reality TV show in the works that I'm sure is going to spark some water cooler talk.
Word on the street is that there is a new series in the works called 'The Real Mistresses of Atlanta.'
The reality series, created by Memphitz (aka Toya from Tiny & Toya's husband) and Do Work films, will follow the lives of women and men who currently or have, in the past, enjoyed the label "mistress."
I am far from a prude (since I am a born and bred New Yorker who has pretty much seen it all), but when do we draw the line in regards to entertainment? I know it's all for the sake of good TV, but we have to stop giving infamous people attention. A smart casting choice would be to add Superhead to the show. Then I'm sure people would most definitely watch. Even Dwight Eubanks (from the Real Housewives of Atlanta) makes a cameo on the show.
So far it hasn't been sold to a network (I won't be surprised if VH1 is bidding on this show as we speak and adds it to their nigger nonsense roster of reality shows), but you can watch a 9-minute trailer of the show highlighting professional ho's Maliah, Rosee, Mary Jane, Sarah and Branden below. I'm not gonna lie this show looks pretty entertaining, and the only thing about it that really peaked my interest was the 24-year-old male star of the show Branden who talks about sleeping with male singers, actors, athletes or basically men who have a lot of money. Sheeeeeit! they should have done the entire show on gay mister-esses of ATL than these raggedy-looking hoes.
