Jacqueline of all trades Jennifer Lopez finally kicked off her very first Mohegan Sun-esque world tour in Panama City on Thursday night, and say what you want to say about J Lo (and I have many times over), but you can't deny this chick always gives good show. Between Madonna, Beyonce and J Lo, as a performer I don't know which one works harder than these 20 somethings lazily schlupping around the stage every night.
I've been seeing that people are saying this is her first tour in almost five years, but I'm sorry her limited co-headlining tour with her soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony doesn't count, especially since she was big as a house at the time (she had two babies pressing hard on her uterus). This is the first time she has taken to the road on her own to perform all the tracks that have spanned her 13-year music career so I count this tour as her first ever.
Anyways, I'm sure J Lo will strike a deal to release her tour on DVD, but in the meantime be sure to catch her when she makes her way across North America with Enrique Iglesias and Wisin Y Yandel.
