FRENCHIE DAVIS TALKS LESBIAN RELATIONSHIP IN NEW INTERVIEW

Former American Idol and The Voice contestant Frenchie Davis, who seems to make her coins by performing in gay clubs and at Pride events (to be fair she used to perform at drag bars in D.C. and New York City before she did AI and The Voice) recently opened up to the St. Louis Dispatch about performing for the kids and dropped a bombshell by acknowledging her new relationship with a woman.

"I love the gays. I love the gay boys. They have that awesome, masculine energy, but there’s also something else going on as well," says Davis, who is performing at three pride events this weekend.
"I wasn’t out before the relationship, but I wasn’t in,” she says. “I dated men and women, though lesbians weren’t feeling the bisexual thing. Now I’m in love with a woman I think I can be with forever.”

So does this mean that Frenchie is no longer bi-sexual and is a full-blooded lesbian, or is she just fully committed to being with a woman right now and God-forbid this relationship dissipates she'll just keep her sexuality fluid and date whoever she has a connection with? Either way if you like it I love it and another addition to the LGBT fam is alright in my opinion. Frenchie is currently working on her debut album which should probably be out late 2012/early 2013. As long as she has some fierce Ultra Nate-esque dance tracks and some power ballads on the record I am so there!
