FANTASIA TO RELEASE FOURTH ALBUM AT THE END OF THE YEAR

While Fantasia's personal life has been a hot ass mess for the past couple of years (based on what we've seen since she won American Idol), the singer has taken a break from all of the drama and recently revealed that she will drop her fourth album by the end of the year.

Here is what she had to say about returning to American Idol for the finale:

“It was great to return to the place where I got my start,” she told Go Memphis. “American Idol has been a great role in my career, allowing me to showcase to millions that I would not have been able to introduce who and what Fantasia’s brand is.”

Fantasia, who has been working with Chuck Harmony and Jerry Wonder. is looking to release her first (yet unnamed) single in the summer, and being that the worst aspects of EDM is dominating the American musical charts, she does worry about whether or not it will be a big hit.
“Of course, the pressure is always on to give the fans more of Fantasia and to allow them to see my growth,” she continued. “This time around, I have more creative input and am writing a lot. I think everyone will be quite pleased with where I am going this go-’round.”

I have always loved Tasia as a singer, but what I've always worried about is her trust in the wrong people. it was clear her family took advantage of her when she did that reality show for VH1, and then she made is worse by sleeping with a married man, to which we got the infamous "GUUUUUURL PLEASE!" line from her Aunt Bunny. I have always seen Fantasia as someone who could have a career as big as Brandy's if she would just focus on the music and raising her two kids. Now leave Antwaun alone and get back to doing what you do best - being the new generation's Patti Labelle (vocally speaking) and less like them industry trainwrecks. The music will always speak for itself, but what Fanny needs is an image makeover. Them outfits she's been wearing lately would get her on Fashion Police's worst dressed list. I'm hoping when she shows that she's serious about her music than hopefully her label will put some money behind her to make sure her new album is a commercial success.
