CHANNING TATUM'S FORMER STRIPPER BUDDIES CLAIM THE ACTOR STOLE THEIR STORIES FOR MAGIC MIKE

At this point it's no big secret that in his late teens before becoming an A-list actor, Channing Tatum used to grind his nalgas in the faces of horny middle-aged women. He's even starring in an overhyped  movie based on his pre-Hollywood career called Magic Mike. Well as we are a few short weeks away from the film hitting theaters, we shouldn't be surprised by the fact that is was only a matter of time before people would start coming out of the woodwork wanting their piece of the G-string pie.

Two ex-male strippers who worked with the actor clain that he stole their life stories and turned it into a movie. Tatum, who also serves at a producer has admitted in interviews that the film is partially based on his experiences and things that he witnessed when he was a stripper back in Florida.

According to TMZ, Tatum's former co-workers Thomas "Awesome" Austin and London Steele claim that the film is based more off their lives than his ... even down to the title -- "Magic Mike" -- which is a name Austin says he coined for another dancer.

"Awesome" Austin told TMZ that he and his former male dance buddies are a like a "brotherhood" and, even though they are happy for Tatum's Hollywood success they feel betrayed that he didn't ask them to be a part of the movie. They claim that Tatum was more like the character that Alex Pettyfer plays in the film (Channing plays a stripper veteran who takes Alex's character under his wing and teaches him all the secrets to being a male exotic dancer) and that they taught him everything he knows about the stripper world, including one of their special stripper-moves like "The Hot Seat" -- which is featured in the film. Austin claims he invented that dance move.

The guys, who have yet to see the entire film said that without them Tatum, who was nothing more than an amateur at the time (he only performed as a stripper for four months) wouldn't have any material and he should have consulted them for accuracy.
I say they should see the entire movie first before any lawsuits get filed, but I agree if I came up at a certian point in my life and Hollywood was going to make a movie loosely based on my experiences whether in the porn world or the exotic danceing world, I would invite some of my buddies to make cameos. I've said it enough times already that Magic Mike is going to be a hot ass mess and I'm sure when they see it's just as bad as Steven Soderberg's other film he released back in January Haywire, they won't want any of their names attached to that shit.
