I had heard about Britney releasing a Best Of compilation a few weeks ago, but I avoided talking about this story until I could get more information on the songs that would be officially added to the track list. Just like Kylie Minogue (with her Best Of album she's currently promoting), the pop tart is releasing yet another greatest hits album called Oops! I Did It Again: The Best Of Britney Spears which included her earlier singles “…Baby One More Time”, “I’m A Slave 4 U” and “Oops!…I Did It Again”, and lesser-known album tracks like “Anticipating”, “Cinderella” and “My Baby”, and a song I never even knew she did like her cover of The Jets’ “You Got It All”, which was a bonus track on her original Oops!… album. Surprisingly, there are no songs from her Femme Fatale album.
The last time Britbot released a Greatest Hits album was back in 2004 when she was still with Kevin Federline (Greatest Hits: My Prerogative). Sorry, but like Kylie's new Best Of album, this is not something I will be purchasing since I have all these songs and this feels like some fast cash scheme that I'm sure she probably has no idea is even coming out. The Best Of compilation will be released on Amazon June 26.
