As you all are well aware, George Michael is one of the singers who has influenced me growing up (Andy Bell is also another one). The pop icon has unleashed a new dance single called White Light, and of course it is phenomenal. What I love about it is that it gives us an insight into his battle with pneumonia, which nearly took his life.

I have been patiently waiting for GM to drop a new album since his brilliant Patience album eight years ago and after listening to White Light it was worth the wait.
