ADAM GOLDMAN TALKS TO MTV ABOUT HIT GAY WEB SERIES THE OUTS

One of the things that I love about the entertainment industry is that when the mainstream networks won't tell our stories, someone will come along and do it themselves. After the success of the new gay web series The Outs (which has so-far aired three of it's six episodes), MTV had a chat with writer, director and star Adam Goldman about the online show's success, the dearth of LGBT-centric programming and why The Outs has done so well.

With no shows on TV that tell our stories the way they need to be told, there is a deep hunger for original gay programming and The Outs is one representation of that. I hope with the success of The Outs that it will get distribution to air on a channel like Showtime and will once again kick open a door left vacant by groundcreaking shows such as Queer As Folk, The L Word and Noah's Arc.
Internet TV is the future. Get into it.
