Usually when people release a brand new single, they wait a few weeks before they release the music video. Not Kylie. Less than 24 hours after the aural debut of Timebomb, the Impossible Princess has unleashed the music video upon us, and it is absolutely STUNNING! Madonna may be kicking off her world tour next week and while we have to wait until September for the tour to make it's way to NYC, I am so excited to have Kylie in my life until Madonna releases her next single/video. Now if only Kylie would reconsider dropping another Best Of album and would give us a proper album with new material.
The video was directed & edited by Christian Larson but it reminded me of something I could see Jonas Akerlund directing, like one of my favorite videos, Smack My Bitch Up by The Prodigy and a few other videos from her past catalogue. I just hope that when Kylie works on her new album of fresh material, she will push herself and come up with something musically innovative that we haven't heard since her Fever album.
