RYE RYE STOPS BY 106 & PARK

One of my favorite up and coming rappers and B-more native Rye Rye stopped by 106 & Park on Tuesday to talk to hosts Terrence J. and Rocsi about her excellent debut album Go! Pop! Bang!,

staying true to her Baltimore roots, and working with her mentor M.I.A.

“When she first met me, she loved that I had so much confidence so she let me do me,” said Rye Rye of the Sri Lankan singer/rapper
In a backstage video, Rye talked about the dance moves coming out of Baltimore, her colorful wardrobe, and what artists she would turn into a super group (kudos for the Roxanne Shanté shout-out).
