I don't get to watch ABC's social experment series What Would You Do as often as I would like (because it comes on at the same time as Fringe and Supernatural), but when I do get to watch it I love the plethora of different experiments they set upon unknowing patrons.
On this coming Friday's episode, RuPaul's Drag Race season 3 alum Carmen Carrera participated in an experiment for the show, playing a waitress. When she reveals to one of the guys Kevin (who is an actor) that she is transgender, Kevin proceeds to harrass her.
At one point one of the diner regulars Michael Rizzo confronts Kevin on his bigotry. What shocked me the most from watching this is Carmen coming out as trans. Even though she does give convincing fish in her drag, I had no idea she was interested in living her life as a woman. I've heard a few of the former cast members have also become trans since the show, and I could totally see season 4 contestant Kenya Michaels getting an operation in the future.
