Ever since the folks over at America's Next Top Model cleaned house and got rid of Nigel Barker, Jay Manuel and Miss J, many wondered who would fill the void over at the struggling series. Word on the street is that returning judge Kelly Kutrone along with celebrity stylist Johnny Wujek (Katy Perry, Shakira) and international male model Rob Evans have been hired as the new judges to have been added to the next season of America's Next Top Model. While it is a smart move that she has added some eye candy to the judges panel, I hope Mr. Evans has a TV personality in the vein of someone like, say, Tyson Beckford. Among the other changes being made on Cycle 19, which is being called the college edition, is that viewers will get to have a hand in voting for who is eliminated by leaving their comments at www.cwtv.com based on the photos taken during production. The scores will be factored in each week when Tyra and the judges eliminate someone. Viewers can also have their comments and video messages featured on the show when it airs in the fall. Like when Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez joined American Idol last year, I will watch the premiere just to see how the chemistry is between the judges. If the show can't improve beyond Tyra making the show all about her, then like these previous seasons I won't be giving her show my full attention.
