The 39th Annual Daytime Emmy nominations are in, and General Hospital leads the nominees
Accrding to The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, ABC, which has come under fire for canceling TV staples like All My Children and One Life To Live for cheaper, shitty programming like The Revolution and The Chew has a whopping 56 nominees. GH has 23 of those nominations. PBS netted 51 nominations, including 16 for Sesame Street. Elsewhere, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Live With Regis and Kelly, The Talk and The View were nominated for Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment.
Congrats on GH getting all those nominations, but is anyone really shocked with the amount of nominees? After all there's only four soaps left.
