AURAL ORGASM: AZEALIA BANKS OFFICIALLY RELEASES 1991 EP

As someone who grew up loving out-of-the-box hip hop as diverse as Kid N' Play, Beastie Boys, Queen Latifah, Heavy D and Missy Elliott, to name a few,  it has been a long time since I've heard some hip hop that has gotten me excited, especially from a woman.

Harlemite Azealia Banks, who I have become obsessed with since last year after I couldn't stop shaking my ass to "212" is about to embaek on a busy couple of months with the release of her long-awaited EP 1991 and her official studio album in September. She recently released her second single Jumanji which is just as fun, fierce and catchy.

As someone who loves fun and out-of-the-box hip hop mixed with dance, pop and electro, I highly recommend adding Azealia to your iPod. it's been a long time since we've gotten some music that was different than the shit on the radio, and while we wait for Missy to finally release her long-awaited Block Party album, show some love to Azealia and her forward-thinking music.

Check out cuts from the four track EP below...
