I have been anticipating the release of Rye Rye's debut album Go! Pop! Bang! for a long ass time (since 2008), and now her label Interscope has unleashed the entire album online in snippet form. I must say I'm glad M.I.A. has taken Rye under her wing and has her attached to her label (as well as Interscopes independent dance label Cherrytree) because like my girl Azealia Banks Rye Rye is ready to bring the heat to female hip hop this year. Go! Pop! Bang! is the record Lil Mama wishes she had the skills to put out. From the sound of things, the album was definitely worth the wait.
