While it's no secret that Perez Hilton, who in my opinion one of the most vile gossip trolls that still breathes air has gotten his claim to fame by calling celebs names, drawing cum stains on their mouths and "outing" a few celebrities, I had thought that he had changed his wicked ways around when he started losing weight.
Now the gossip queen (who's real name is Mario Lavandeira), is at it again, saying that it would be better for the gay community if high-profile celebrities like Anderson Cooper, Kevin Spacey and Jodie Foster - three big name stars who everyone knows enjoys the comfort of the same sex would come out of the closet.
While I do believe that visibility is key, I don't believe that it is his place to report what people do in the privacy of their own home. I do wish if Anderson is going to have a talk show (which in my opinion is most of the time unwatchable), I would have at least have thought he would address more homosexual, transgender and bullying issues. But for him to do that would mean that he would have to reveal his sexuality. In a perfect world I wish gay celebrities were comfortable in their own skin to say "fuck it" and live their truth while they still go out and act in those high profile roles, but there is still a deep sense of self-hatred in the entertainment industry. It's everyone's individual choice if they want to announce to the world that they are gay or lesbian.
