ORIGINAL SUGABABES SIGN £1 MILLION CONTRACT WITH POLYDOR


After a decade featuring a revolving door of singers, the original Sugababes are officially doing something smart and getting back together.

The Sun is reporting that original members Keisha Buchanan, Siobhan Donaghy and Mutya Buena have already signed a £1 million record deal with Universal's Polydor Records. There is a catch: Since all the original members left and Sugababes 2.0 are still together, the original members (who don't own the rights to the Sugababes name) have to get a new one.

So far they're on the right track since they are currently in the studio with the Xenomania songwriting and production team (Kylie Minogue, Pet Shop Boys) and being produced by Cameron McVey (who produced their debut album).
