NELLY FURTADO'S T.S.I. (The Sprit Indestructible) TO BE RELEASED IN JUNE
It's been six years since we've gotten a proper English-language album from Nelly Furtado (her excellent Loose record was her last before she dropped her Spanish-language album Mi Plan in 2009), and now the Canadian songstress has announced the official album's title and release date.
Nelly tweeted the official news: “The Spirit Indestructible JUNE 19, 2012.”
The T.S.I. (The Sprit Indestructible) first single, “Big Hoops (Bigger the Better),” which was produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins will be released on iTunes April 17. Nelly will shoot the video this week in Los Angeles.
Besides producion from Darkchild, Nelly has also been collaborating with Salaam Remi and Pharrell.
“It has a real classic sound to it, a sound that’s really authentic, super soulful,” said Nelly of her new music.
I've been a Nelly Furtado fan since her first album and I'm looking forward to new music from her.
