JENNIFER LOPEZ TO HEAD OUT ON FIRST EVER WORLD TOUR

As long as Jennifer Lopez has been making music, this chick has never toured more than the occasional filmed TV special or a 1 day residency in Atlantic City like she did last year for her Love? album. Now 13 years after the release of her debut album On The 6, the international superstar feels confident enough to head out on a 60-day tour with her three kids in tow (yes I'm including her new piece Casper Smart).

The ever-busy entertainer will kick off her AEG Live-sponsored world tour in South America in June. J Lo will hold a press conference on Monday where she will give details on upcoming tour dates. A source close to Jennifer and the tour said, “J.Lo and her team have blocked out more than a month of their schedules, beginning May 4, to start intense rehearsals, each day, at a sound stage in the Los Angeles area. This will be a huge tour, complete with a lavish set, full band and team of dancers.”

J Lo's tour will make stops in the United States, South America, Europe and Asia. I know I've said a lot when it comes to J Lo's lack of vocal ability as a singer, but one thing she definitely knows how to do is give a show, and since Britney ain't been giving us fierce choreography and sexy outfits for the past few years, it looks like J Lo is willing to step up to the plate.
