The Avengers won't be in theaters until May 4, but an exclusive clip of the movie, which features Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson, and Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow kicking some major ass has leaked online! I thought the fight scene was very creative (as Joss' usually are especially if you've ever seen Buffy or Angel) but my favorite part of the clip was watching Gregg listening to the fight over the phone as if an operator had im on hold and he was enjoying the muzak. I never doubted Joss would do The Avengers movie justice, but after watching the exclusive trailer as well as this clip, I have faith that Mr. Whedon will give the fans one of the best Superhero films of 2012 (second to The Dark Knight Rises, of course). Speaking of which, if this clip doesn't give fanboys a major woodie, then you seriously need to have your penises checked!
Written and directed by Joss Whedon (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Dollhouse) the highly-anticipated acion film also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård and Samuel L. Jackson.
