CISSY HOUSTON OPENS UP ABOUT HER DAUGHTER WHITNEY
They say good black don't crack, but no shade, after Whitney's passing it looks as if all the stress has aged her mother 20 years. 78-year-old Cissy Houston gave an exclusive interview on a channel no one watches Newark's My 9 News and spoke candidly about how she's holding up since she laid her daughter to rest at New Hope Baptist last month.
“I’m OK. I have my moments. I’m not there yet,” said the grieving mother. “I don’t think I’m any more courageous than anyone else. I haven’t gotten angry yet. I don’t like getting angry.”
Cissy also said that she doesn't blame anyone for her daughter's death and that she did the best she could to keep her daughter on the right path. I know everyone loves to play the blame game, but Whitney was her own woman and at the end of the day grown ass people need to take responsibility for the decisions they make in life good or bad.
