If there is one Reggaeton group I go hard for it's most definitely Wisin Y Yandel. The Puerto Rican latin hip hop duo have unleashed Follow The Leader, the official first single from their forthcoming album, Los Lideres. Their latest single also features one of the biggest Puerto Rican superstars in the world Jennifer Lopez, and now that I know Follow The Leader is not officially her song (but will most likely end up on her Greatest Hits album), the stills we saw of J Lo in Puerto Rico shooting the video with her male stunt double dressed like her makes perfect sense. I also think this is a better single for the American idol judge than the extremely catchy cheesefest that is Dance Again she recently debuted on American Idol featuring her professional back digger Casper Smart.
I also think it's wise for her to give back to the latin community with a song as good as Follow The Leader, because everybody knows J Lo ain't been proud to be a latina since she played Selena. Now she's collaborating with other latin artists and brushing up on her Spanish on Q' Viva. As for Wisin Y Yandel, I'm glad they're stepping away from the monotonous reggaeton beats and are exploring more of a pop sound for their new album, something Daddy Yankee should have done a long time ago. La Revolucion: Evolucion is one of my favorite W&Y albums and I can't believe they've been making music together since 1988.
