SIMON COWELL OFFERS BRITNEY SPEARS $10 MILLION TO BE ON THE X FACTOR

Word on the street is that Simon Cowell has offfered Britney Spears $10 million to appear as a judge on The X Factor.

Here are the deets via Deadline:

I have learned that, following an overture by Cowell and an initial discussion, the pop star has received a $10 million offer to join the second season of Fox’s singing competition. The recruitment of Spears would bring the star power Cowell & Co. had been looking for after their decision to replace first-season X Factor judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger

After a lackluster first season and three fireations, Simon is coming across as desperate for a big name star for ratings and I think choosing someone who lip-syncs foer her life worse than a $2.00 drag queen at a Mexican gay bar is the worst choice. Brntiey hasn't given a real opinion about anything since her mental breakdown six years ago, and as I said before she can't look off to her publicist to know what to say. Get someone who will say it like they mean it, give constructive criticism that will help the contestants and you'll be good. In the meantime, I'll stick with the best singing competition on TV right now The Voice.
