It's getting close to the end of yet another fabulous season of RuPaul's Drag Race, and I must say the queens did not disappoint. In the first challenge, all the queens were hooked up to a lie detector and were asked a series of questions about the other queens on the show. Once the tests were done Ru teamed up the remaining six in pairs. Latrice with Willam, Chad with Dida and (big surprise) Phi Phi with Sharon Needles. The queens had to perform a live cabaret-esque routine to a song called So Much Better.
Pamela Anderson, Jennifer Tilly and Lucian Piane (producer of Ru's Champion and Glamazon albums) sat on the judge's panel and critiques the queens on their choreography and live singing. Sharon and Phi Phi were up for elimination and while I sat there praying real hard that the most vicious cunty queen in Drag Race history Phi Phi would finally sashay her tired ass away, Ru had the queens clutching their pearls when he announced that he would be sending Willam home for breaking the rules and voilating her contract. As to what rules she broke was never specified, and I find it annoying when you watch a show and they don't explain why someone is being disqualified. Was she doing drugs? Was she secretly fucking one of the camera men on the show? Someone explain to me WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?
Some are speculating that Willam may have been wearing clothes that she bought on the show instead of making her outfits, which the queens are required to do. Other rumors going around is that Willam was communicating with other people while filming the show, which is a no-no since the queens are required to turn in all electronic devices. And third Willam may have been taking hormones. I remember when i first saw Willam on the show I thought he was a tranny since every role I've seen him in, from Ticked off Trannies with Knives to Nip/Tuck he's played a trans hooker. Either way I'm sure we'll find out the real tea dirung the reunion. Phi Phi you're safe...for now!
In the meantime maybe we need to vote for Willam to get her own spin-off reality show?
