The National Enquirer seems to be on a roll when it comes to spilling the gay tea on some of Hollywood's biggest A-List stars. Not too long ago they claimed that Dwayne Martin was coming between Will & Jada Pinkett Smith's marriage (which we in the life know is so not true, since they both get down with members of the same sex), and they also had the displeasure of putting a dead Whitney Houston on the cover of their magazine. Now there are claims that Travolta is caught up in a gay prostitution scandal (In the words of Whitney Houston, "I wanna see the receipts").
National Enquirer alleges that Travolta “offered hard cash” to a “burly” massage therapist for sex on January 16 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
“He tried to pay me for sex – it was very clear that John Travolta wanted me to perform a sexual act on him and that he would pay me to do it,” the unnamed masseur is quoted as telling the Enquirer.
The massage therapist, who Travolta hired from Criagslist take a polygraph test and he passed with flying colors.
The unnamed massage therapist also claims that an hour into the massage (in which Travolta picked him up and drove him to the Beverly Hills Hotel) Travolta allegedly reached out and began touching the masseur.
What followed (in the Enquirer’s telling of events) was a back-and-forth in which Travolta repeatedly propositions the man, who declines to participate in the “sex game” because he could be arrested for prostitution. Then Travolta eventually grew frustrated and furious, at one point suggesting that they have a threesome with a “beautiful blonde” in the hotel.
While I believe wholeheartedly that Travolta is a part of the Gay List club of millionaire actors who enjoys the comfort of a man, the actor has plenty of people who can set him up with some trick and have them sign a confidentiality agreement. But then again, when you've spent over three decades in the closet, sometimes you want to push the envelope and risk getting caught, because the thrill is so much sweeter. As for this story, I don't know if I believe it but then again when it comes to Travolta and young men I'm not surprised at all (especially if you remember the infamous photo of Travolta kissing another man on the lips in front of his private jet).
