So after rumors of some cast shakeups over at Bravo it has been officially reported that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer will not be returning for the series' third season. For those who don't remember, Camille was one of the most hated reality stars during the shows first season. But when she came back in season 2, there was a complete turnaround and Camille wound up being loved by those who despised her in the first season. Only thing is, when you're happy in the world or reality TV (which are the new generations version of the 60's soap opera) that means you become boring.
Camille brought nothing in the last season except for the screaming match she got into with Taylor after it was revealed that cast member Taylor Armstrong was abused by her husband Russell, who also threatened Camille with a lawsuit for revealing personal information that Taylor told the group.
Here's what Camille had to say about her departure:
“I love these girls. I really do,” she says of fellow “Real Housewives” Kim and Kyle Richards,Taylor Armstrong, Lisa Vanderpump and Adrienne Maloof. “I’ve had so much fun with the franchise, but I guess the producers and I couldn’t come to an agreement.”
There are also rumors that Taylor and Kim might be on the outs, which means there will be a few Louboutins that need to fill some vacancies on the show. I personally liked actor Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville on the show, because she comes with no filter (which is how we like our reality stars), and I think she should be bumped to series regular in season 3.
There have been rumors that Jennifer Flavin, wife of actor Sylvester Stallone is in talks to join the show as well as Bruce Willis' wife Emma Heming (who is BFF's with Flavin from their modeling days). If this does become a reality, I think it would make for great television, since someone needs to give prudish and bourgeois ass Kyle Richards a run for her money next season. I think Taylor should stay on for the sake of getting her financial affairs in order (after Russell's suicide), and the producers can document her getting her life together. Get rid of Kim because she was such a hot, sloppy drunken mess last season I just couldn't deal with her. It's great that she went to rehab for her addiction to alcohol and talked openly about it at the reunion, but being on a reality show could prove to be toxic for her in the long run.
