Leading up to the March 27 premiere date of MDNA, Madonna has been leaking 60-second snippets of tracks from her 12th album. The Pop icon has leaked I Fucked Up in it's entirety just for her fans and I can't stop listening to it. While I am looking forward to working up a sweat to her fun dance/pop numbers, Madonna is always her strongest when it comes to her ballads (Live To Tell is still one of my all-time favorite classic Madonna singles). I think it's great to have the singers who can do vocal gymnastics and can sing the phone book, but what draws me in the most are the artists who don't have the most spectacular voice in the world, but can bring a sense of emotion and vulnerablity to their music, which Madonna has in spades. Trust me you'll have this on repeat upon first listen.
I Fucked Up will be available on the Deluxe Edition of MDNA (which I'm sure the hard core fans like myself will be buying because we get more songs than the standard 12). Check it out below...
