Danish electro pop group Alphabeat have unleashed Vacation, the first single from their forthcoming new album. Here's how they deacribe their new single:
“Imagine the love child of the B52’s and Wham produced by Nile Rodgers and voila you have Alphabeat!”
With La Roux, Adam Lambert, Sam Sparro and now Alphabeat all inspired by the legendary Nile Rodgers (Lambert actually working with him on tracks on his Tresspassing CD) it looks like real soulful disco pop is getting the revival it deserves.
