While I do feel that it's too soon for a Spider Man reboot (Tobey Maguire last appeared as Spider Man only five years ago), I am curious as to what direction they will take the franchise. Andrew Garfield (The Social Network) is the new Peter Parker/Spider Man, who happens to find a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard, his father’s former partner played by Rhys Ifans. Andrew's real-life girlfriend Emma Stone plays Peter's love interest Gwen Stacy and Sally Field and Martin Sheen play Uncle Ben and Aunt May.
