Oh lord have I waited for this day. Ever since I heard that Hollywood was making the bestselling Seth Grahame-Smith book Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter (who also wrote the screenplay) into a movie, I was beyond excited, especially since visual filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov (Night Watch, Wanted) is behind the lens and Tim Burton is on board as producer. I'm a huge nerd when it comes to mashing genres together, and this is a film I'm hoping will give us a different twist on vampires. ALVH, which will be out on June 22 stars Benjamin Walker, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jimmi Simpson, Robin McLeavy, Alan Tudyk and Rufus Sewell. If this movie proves to be successful maybe we'll get a movie based on Grahame-Smith's other book Pride and Prejudice with Zombies made as well.
