RAVEN-SYMONE HEADING TO BROADWAY

Former Cosby and Disney kid Raven-Symone is heading to Broadway. Word on the street is that the 26-year-old actress will replace Patina Miller as Deloris Van Cartier in the Broadway version of Sister Act, based on the 1992 film which starred Whoopi Goldberg.
According to Deadline, Raven will begin rehearsals at the end of February and then will “hit the stage of the Broadway Theatre at the end of March for a minimum six-month engagement.”

I think Broadway is a smart move for Raven, who needs to find a way to stand out in this business, from them other girls in her age bracket, since there aren't many roles for young black girls outside of The Game, Let's Stay Together or whatever nigger nonsense Tyler Perry is producing. The last time I saw Raven was when she was on Broadway with the Boys Choir of Harlem at age 5, so getting back into familiar territory 21 years later should be easy breezy.
