NEW TV NETWORK GEARED TOWARDS LGBT COMMUNITY TO LAUNCH THIS SUMMER

Here's some pretty awesome news for us folk in the queer community. Word on the street is that a new network called Q-roq TV is set to launch this summer. Unlike that other network that's run by Viacom and only wants to highlight the white side and the stereotypical side of the gay (since they've neglected the LBT part of the community) culture, Q-Roc TV will feature a diverse group of LGBT men and women who are not only talented but have diverse stories to tell as well.  There are so many aspects of the LGBT community that no one gets to hear about, especially historical events like the Stonewall riots, the history of Harvey Milk, black gays that have shaped historical and pop culture, and the different events that made the LGBT community what it is today.

I know how difficult it is to launch a network and the drama that comes with it (boardroom politics, financial upkeep, etc.) and I have to say if this network promises to give us something different from that tame gay channel owned by Viacom (like Harry Potter's sworn enemy I refuse to say their name), and gives us something raw, uncensored, and educational (since the new gay kids coming up I feel need to know the history of gay culture and civil rights) Q-Roc TV definitely has my vote. Now what I need to do is find out how I can pitch a few show ideas  to the network.
