With all the talk from Madonna and Lady Gaga fans circulating on Facebook and Twitter, I'm sure some of you have been wondering why haven't we heard a peep from Mother Monster lately? Well Lady Gaga has been busy putting the finishing touches on her upcoming tour and will be performing at the Grammy's this coming Sunday.
Last night Gaga revealed to her fans a black and white sketch of the stage, which will feature gothic set pieces a runway, and a area at the end of the stage called The Monster Pit, where only die-hard fans who dress up and wait hours to see the singer in concert will have access to it.
“To give you a bit of insight on the design of my new tour, the central area within the stage will be known as ‘The Monster Pit. The Monster Pit’ is General Admission only, and Little Monsters unlock it when they arrive to the arena or stadium. Entry to ‘The Monster Pit’ is relegated to the fans who have arrived first, waited all night, + dressed to ‘Ball.’ Every night Haus of GaGa will choose fans from The Monster Pit to come back stage + meet me! These tickets are NOT more expensive.”
I actually think this is a pretty cool idea, and I've never heard Gaga charge her fans a shitload of money to come see her. She truly understand the art of appreciating your followers, and say what you want about her (and believe me - I have), but Gaga never takes advantage of her fans.
I'm just curious since now both Madonna and Gaga are touring that both shows will be the most highly anticipated must-sees of the year.
