On this Saturday's upcoming episode of The Graham Norton Show (which airs on BBC America), Cuba Gooding Jr., who is promoting his new film Red Tails reminisced about a time back in 1996 when he was on the set of Jerry Maguire that his father stopped by and asked Tom Cruise if he was a life long member of the Scientolohole Club.
“He gave Tom Cruise a hug and said, ‘I love you man. Now seriously, are you gay or not?’ I almost fainted,” Cuba told the British TV host. “And thought, please Lord, let me disappear. Tom just laughed and said ‘no’.”
The Oscar winner also admitted that he's absolutely sick of people shouting "show me the money" at him in the street.
Well when you do another movie where you're more memorable than for that role you did 16 years ago, maybe people will stop saying it to you. I think the real question is has Cuba Gooding Sr. ever asked his son the same question, since I've heard some legendary stories about you, Miss Honey!
