ARTIST2WATCH: 2:54
For those of you who follow my blog on a daily basis, you know it's very rare that I post any rock music on here. Not to say that I despise rock music altogether, it's just that most of the rock I've been hearing or that has been pushed into the mainstream sucks. Nu Metal was never my cup of tea, and I've never been a huge fan of artists like Foo Fighters, Radiohead or Limp Bizkit, I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of new albums from Garbage and Marilyn Manson, but today I discovered a new rock band that goes by the name 2:54 and I have to say they give me hope for the revival of real rock music making a comeback. The band is made up of sisters Colette and Hannah Thurlow, who head from Nordnol, UK and sound like Shirley Manson. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more music from 2:54, and I don't usually like to tell my followers what to do (unless you're into that sort of thing, but I would recommend you take a listen to Scarlet, Got A Hold, and their latest single You're Early below...
