LADY GAGA TO RELEASE HEAVY METAL LOVER AS NEXT SINGLE

After just about every single off off Born This Way flopping (except for the title track), Mother Monster has announced that the sixth single to drop from the album will be Heavy Metal Lover.

This happens to be some very exciting news, since HML is one of my favorite songs off the album, and I'm also guessing since I've been hearing that she will open and close the Grammy's on February 12, she will perform the new single in front of millions of TV watchers and her music peers. She already performed part of Heavy Metal Lover at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve, so it will be interesting to see what she rips off next comes up with.
While it's great that HML is finally getting a single release, I feel it's too little, too late because quite frankly I'm over the Gaga BTW phenomenon and so are millions of others. Government Hooker, Scheibe and Electric Chapel should have been released as earlier singles, but at this point I think it's time she just head out on a world tour or retreat underground for a while to work on some new music.
