After giving us her most disappointing stand up special last month, it looks like Kathy is about to invade our TV screens on a weekly basis. The comic has announced that she will be getting her own weekly talk show on the network that has taken her from the D-list to the A-list, the Bravo network. The show will air sometime this Spring.
Bravo has stated that "this will be the destination to get Griffin's thoughts on everything pop culture as she rants on the week's biggest headlines and tabloid gossip." The show will also include stand-up comedy, celebrity interviews and taped segments. In addition to the talk show, Griffin will also perform two stand-up specials that will air on the network later this year.
I've always thought Kathy would be perfect as a talk show host, and I'm sure she will bring the laughs, as she always does. I most certainly miss her My Life On The D-List reality show, and as I stated before her four stand-up specials (that she had to perform out of obligation for no longer doing the reality show) were a disappointment. I do know for a fact that her show will be 1000 times more watchable than the talk show Russell Brand is about to get on FX.
