Alright bitches! It's time to get out those pom poms, because pop icon Madonna has finally unleashed the official single artwork for her new single Give Me All Your Luvin', which shows the 53-year-old in a more youthful light, which makes sense since she spent a lot of money injecting the bone marrows of 5,000 virgin infants into her face. In other GMAYL news, the singer has also announced that she will premiere the video featuring M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj during the February 2nd episode of American Idol.
The singer also gave fans an insight into the sound of the album in a recent interview with the L.A. Times: “I feel like all the records on the radio right now have a homogenized quality to them,” she said in The Times interview. “I’ve made a huge effort to try and not sound like everybody else. The music that I’ve done with William is quite introspective, whereas Martin’s is more ironic and funny and upbeat. There’s a really up aspect to it and a really fun aspect to it.”
Give Me All Your Luvin' was written by Madonna, Martin Solveig, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A, and is the first single off of Madonna’s 12th studio album "MDNA,"which features production by William Orbit, Martin Solveig, The Demolition Crew, Marco “Benny” Benassi and Alessandro “Alle” Benassi, Hardy “Indiigo” Muanza, Michael Malih and Madonna. MDNA, which will also include an 18-track deluxe edition will be out on March 26 via Interscope Records.
I'm excited to finally see the Queen reclaim her throne, but as someone who absolutely HATES American Idol and what that cheesefest stands for in regards to creativity and true artistic expression I don't like that she's premiering it on that shit show. But then again, Madonna is all about making sure her music reaches as many people as possible, so in regards to business, it's a great strategy.
